Our 2023 From the Ground Up Event was a success! Despite the heat and humidity, we were excited to bring back this annual acknowledgement of the important work of our agricultural community.
Our focus for this year’s event, was to showcase a local, Martin County farm, and learn about how local agriculture ends up in products we use everyday. Guests had time to talk with local producers and learn about what they’ve Made in Martin County. After the meal, a panel discussion with Hormel, CHS, and Valero talked about how they process and use what’s grown locally.
