The Minnesota State Office of Broadband is in the process of developing a Digital Equity plan for the entire state, to be used in conjunction with BEAD funding from the federal government for broadband. To ensure the plan can positively impact the entire state, the Office of Broadband is working with local groups (Digital Connection Committees) to gather input and information about the needs of their regions. You can learn more on their website.

Here in Martin County, our local American Connection Corps fellow Celia Simpson has brought together members of the community to create an asset inventory and collect qualitative and quantitative data on the needs of our community related to technology. You can get involved by completing a survey or joining a local focus group (dates and locations TBD).
